Be a donor, member, volunteer--or all three--there's a need for your help with the Fox Chapel Areas Schools Hall of Fame. Opportunities are listed below.

Where Do Your Funds Go?

The FCASD Fox bursting through a wall is a mural by artist Christian Mrosko currently covering Fox Chapel Area High School's main gym wall. In 2002, the Fox Chapel Area Schools Sports Hall of Fame received a $2500 donation from the PW Campbell Company that allowed the Hall to commission Mrosko's design and execution.

In 2001, the Hall of Fame officially opened an actual hall. Located in an alcove across from the LGI and Athletic Department office in the high school, the display cases honor decades of athletic achievement. The area includes plaques honoring each inductee, plus sports memorabilia from pre-merger schools to district championships to our Steeler ties.

Sports equipment for the middle school, mats for a gym...you name it, your donations benefit our students and enrich our community.

This year the Athletic Department and the Sports Hall of Fame have installed an interactive Video Display of the Hall of Fame and Inductee ____ in the Hall of Fame area.

Are Contributions Tax Deductible?

Contributions to the FC Sports Hall of Fame are not currently tax deductible. If you are interested in volunteering your talents to renew our tax deductible status, please contact us!

We always need auction items for the banquet's silent auction. Please go to our Contacts page to contact the approprate chairperson.

Change Your Contribution Level

If you are already a Friend of the Hall, please consider moving to a different level of sponsorship. You can donate funds at four different corporate levels to help us provide scholarships and facilities. Please consult the Membership/Donation form itself for more information.

Walk of Fame

Buy a brick paver for our Walk of Fame and inscribe with with your name or your family's name or the name of your favorite Fox Chapel athlete or coach. We now have over 450 bricks at this high school entry area outside the Fox Chapel Area High School Athletic Office.

Annual Banquet

Attending the Annual Induction Banquet is another way to support this organization, for in doing so, you honor and salute the memories of outstanding athletic achievement. We hope you can contribute financially there by bidding for items at the Silent Auction, but your presence is equallly valued as we applaud the efforts of all.

Banquet Program Ads / Dedications

It's your choice: Place a program ad or publish a congratulatory message to an inductee. You benefit from this type of donation, too; depending on the ad size, you are awarded banquet reservations. The amounts/benefits are:

Full Page $240--4 Banquet Reservations
Half Page $120--2 Banquet Reservations
Quarter Page $60--1 Banquet Reservation

And if you can't attend, feel free to grant your reservation to another person, just contact our Banquet Chairperson.

Friends of the Sports Hall of Fame

You can become a Friend of the Hall for three years ($25) or for the rest of your life ($100). Already a Friend? You can also change your level of giving.
